How to get to the Japanese paper lantern?
The only door to the right room is always closed. Even finished the plot - it is closed.

He is on a Containment floor. After exiting the lift, you should go forward, always looking to the left for passages. If I remember correctly, he is on the opposite side of the hall where you found the locked door, you've mentioned.

Talk to the guy and he will give you a quest to find his partner. To find the partner you'll have to go through Motel (entrance is near him) and by doing that you'll find yourself in a large section of Containment floor that isn't accessible otherwise. In fact, to finish a quest, you'll have to go through the locked door (yes, that same one) by opening it from the other side.

I think Lantern is somewhere there.

bruh i have been trying to find a way to get into the room for the letter and you are telling me i somehow missed a dying dude for the past 30+ hours into the game.
how did i even miss him
