Game wasn't a hit on Epic Games Store so they came here, plus, there is a shady "business" going on between them, disgusting, disgrace to the pc gaming.
Pro Tip #427: Enjoy things instead of complaining. Life is better that way.
I'll never understand this kind of needless negativity...and for what? ...the sake of negativity?
Lara Croft, Tomb Raider 1996
Samus Aran, Super Metroid 1994
Jill Valentine, Resident Evil 1996
Regina in Dino Crisis 1999
Well first, having a shooter where multiplayer isn't shoehorned in or the main focus of the game is getting extremely rare. Also a solid original story is nice, again something becoming less and less common. It's literally what people keep asking for.
The game hasn't come here yet, and has been slated for a Steam release one year after Epic since the deal was made with Epic, so however it sold on Epic, which we don't know, has no bearing on its Steam release.
There is also no shady business. A developer who couldn't risk a game doing poorly was offered a minimum payout that would guarantee their ability to say in business, instead of purely relying on the fickle taste of gamers, so they took it. Even if it sales/sold poorly on Epic, developer gets their minimum, and then when it launches later on Steam, they get more revenue. Its the smart choice for a business owner to make.
I don't think most gamers will like Psi Ops now. I don't mind playing old games if I enjoy it.
Control is not bad and I don't think this two games have anything in similar except that both games use some power.
The core gameplay is sluggish and tedious. Pour bullets from your weak af gun into a spongy target until your ammo runs out, then spam melee. Tossing crap at the flying enemies is a waste of time. And damn does this game love to constantly spawn enemies out of thin air. Those spontaneous ambushes spawning behind you two seconds after you already cleared a area are infuriating. And good luck if you need to return to an area backtracking to find the next objective, because all those enemies will auto respawn. Lazy bs filler.
