Report a translation problem
A lot of games that haven't gotten recent updates have issues with the e-cores on the newer intels.
Try disabling the e cores in your bios. That helps with a surprisingly high number of games. Shouldn't be too hard to find a guide for your motherboard manufacturer with a quick google search.

Sorry if it came off condescending, it was not my intention. Look, it's completely OK to not want to go through all this stuff just to play a game, but it comes with the territory, especially with older games/newer hardware. If you just want to game without any of the hassle, get a console which can either run a game or not and that's it. You'll likely save some money too, as new PC gaming hardware is generally more expensive.
