About Beth Wilder and Jesse Faden... (spoiled alert)

I know people have been talking about that the two games are on different universe and are not related.
But I just have a theory.
Could Jesse Faden be the person who went back and talked to Beth Wilder?
You see, in Beth journal, she said that her older self (with red hair) came from the future and gave her a note book.
And the two characters look so much alike, I mean, how could she(kid) tell? Was that her or Jesse Faden?
At the end of quantum break, Beth basically just froze there and was doomed because you can't actually change what has happened... but, what if you can?

When I finished playing QB and was going to buy control, I thought the protagonist was Beth.

It's a nice thought, and Remedy does like to connect things together. But the Beth Wilder you meet in.. 2010? does say she spoke to her younger self, and only became as jaded as she is over everything that came next, not being able to stop 9/11 and so on. But hey, they reference Quantum Break in Ahti's tango, and they have a thing about Max Payne and Alex Casey maybe being alternate versions of the same character. Maybe they'll do something similar with Jesse and Beth, Casey and Trench. When and if they can sort out the details of who owns what with Microsoft, I suppose.

I dig this idea. I choose to believe there is some connection. Not that Jesse is necessarily the one that went back in time to meet child Beth in QB (cause Beth knows and explains that it was the Beth from QB, as Du-Vu said above), but that there is some crossover, somehow, somewhere. Beth and Jesse are awesome characters and Beth holds QB up 100% (every character is great, but Beth feels like the real protag imho). Also the fact that there is Alan Wake 2 footage in this game just helps me justify that all the Remedy games are connected - even if Saga is different. It is too cool.
