Geez, if they still did this again... they could have took a hint.
Weird to see so many bugs now, is it again because they rushed the non-dlc version ? Erf. It's like getting a old day one but not one day one.
This bug is also present in the Complete Edition, so no, it doesn't have to do with the "new" non DLC version. You can find plenty of threads here about this problem.
No matter what you do, you will not be able to kill this bug completely. Everything I tried so far made the time window a little bigger until the texture mess occurs.
Edit: I remember ppl talking about how good an exclusive deal with EPIC will be because devs have much more money and stuff. Well, Remedy products are getting worse every generation from a technical standpoint. More money doesn't change that apparently, it just pisses off fans.
Thanks, this definitely helped. There is still a lot of weirdness. Some textures look good at certain distances and bad at others. It is still not a good looking, consistent game.
Changing the texture resolution also does unpredictable (to me anyway) things. As some one mentioned above, medium seems to work better than low or high.
To be clear, I was not talking about motion blur. I have tried turning it on and off and it did not seem to make a difference in the texture resolution. I didn't spend much time with it off though.
I might just wait and see if they make a dx11 version available since some people in this thread and elsewhere said that helped.
It is pretty frustrating to have a PC that meets or exceeds the recommendations but experience problems like this that make the game look like something from the nineties.

Thanks, I was already using the dll from pcgamingwiki that Seamus suggested, I had not tried to manually change the values in the settings files. That looks like a good next step.
It looks like I may not need to though. The textures seem to be doing better in the new March 10 patch.
I've only tried it for a few minutes.
The Dx11 version is now available, but the Dx12 version also appears to be working better.
Neither seem perfect, but things seem much better. I'm going to actually try and play the game tonight and see how it goes.
That sounds like anisotropy/texture streaming problem. If you have low amount of VRAM/low bandwidth you'll see low resolution textures until it can finish transferring higher quality textures to VRAM. If it happens by simply turning around that sounds like buggy texture management (some open world games have this when travelling unexpectedly fast through the map).
So now I can play and finish the game I've paid for and forget about any dlc by the time they get any reasonable discount. The 505 are human garbage.
Lol, that's probably why Remedy signed a publishing deal with Epic Games for their future releases.
First MSFT cancels AW2 and than 505 gets people angry. Remedy cant catch a break. Im sure theyll be fine with Epic $$$ though! They earned it.
