importing save files

So I've beaten the game on xbox game pass but I didnt have the dlc's. Does anyone know how to import/move saves from gamepass to steam?

If it helps someone I would be happy to receive some Steam Points to earn a collaborator badge.

To import Gamepass saves to Steam will be a little more difficult because the Gamepass files present in "% LOCALAPPDATA% \ Packages \ 505GAMESS.PAControlPCGP_tefn33qh9azfc \ SystemAppData \ wgs \ YOUR PERSONAL FOLDER" have random names and it is difficult to know which one you need to rename for the Steam files.
Steam saves are labeled "savegame-slot-00_global", "savegame-slot-00_hub" and "savegame-slot-00_persistent". The last 3 will be the files we need, then you’ll have to rename them with the Steam names, enter the game and see if it works, if it doesn’t work try renaming it in another order, but I believe it was really lucky. You will have to try several orders to rename files until you get it.

I found out what each file is for
and I tested that we can restore it individually which also works, look below:

savegame-slot-00_persistent: Personal things acquired or unlocked

savegame-slot-00_hub: World status, open portals and found places.

savegame-slot-00_global: Quests and things related to NPCs.

i made a mistake where i upgraded the spin instead of saving the resources for upgrading the grip.
would i be right in assuming that i just need to replace the current 'persistent' file with the previous one?
