Stuck in astral plane (The foundation - The nail)

Instead of talk with the former I fight him and we both died and when the game restart I found myself stuck in the platform where you fight The former... any help please.

I fought with the former and defeat it but fell into the abyss. When the game loaded again theres is no former only me in the platform.

You should jump off the map and see if anything changes

I lose almost 40k points jumping into the void only to restart in the same platform alone...
