Cannot start Foundation DLC or AWE DLC, had tried even reinstalling

I got this free on EPIC sometime ago and was really impressed to bought the steam version, but i can't seem to trigger the DLC? i was thinking my saves from epic may have ruined it so i reinstalled the entire game and replayed it until the last mission, but alas, the DLC doesn't seem to be activated at all, any ideas on how to do it?

No, if it was 50gb it'd mean you have standard edition.

If you didn't delete your save and disable cloud save before starting your replay to prevent steam from re-downloading the old save, that may be the issue.

Just to be sure, because I've seen it happen before here, you didn't install the steam version to the same folder you had the epic version in previously, did you? Because they seem to use different file sets and cause weird conflicts.

Have you gone to the elevator in Central Executive and looked to see if the Investigations sector/floor has opened up for you? That's where the AWE expansion is located. It should have unlocked partways through the base game, whereas The Foundation only unlocks after you beat the base game...

You need to go back to the Hotline room and physically answer the red phone to trigger The Foundation... You may need to go talk to Emily in the boardroom first to trigger it as well, OR go into the Director's office and pick up any mail/letters on the desk to trigger it... I can't quite remember. But, there is easy access to the hotline through the Director's office. The red phone should be ringing non stop as you walk up to it.
