Rumble is not working for some reason?
I've tried using Xbox one and PS4 controllers and it just doesn't work. Tried both wired and with bluetooth, but no dice. Also tried updating my xbox one controllers drivers but that didn't change anything. Also reinstalled the game.

Any fix to this?

I'm having the same issue. I'm using an Xbox Series X/S controller. I've tested it in other games and the rumble works. Hard to search the internet for help because the game is called "Control", so it screws up the Google search

I read somewhere that you have to configure it in the overlay menu for it to work.
Can not tell you more I´m afraid because I dont use controllers.

Just google it like this : "Control PC game" with the quotation marks and it should only get the game hits.

But I did google it about rumble and I see no posts about it so

I fixed this. The issue was that the game recognized my mouse as the primary controller for some reason. Had to uninstall a specific mouse driver to fix this.

What specific driver did you uninstall? I'm using a Razer DeathAdder that's about 4 or 5 years old. When I look up the driver info it only shows an old driver without an option to update or uninstall or rollback.

I think I figured it out.
1. Make sure you're using a Xbox One controller or DS4. (Xbox Series X/S doesn't seem to work)
2. Remove the Steam overlay
3. Calibrate the controller on the Steam Controller menu..

Th rumble is very weak in the DS4, but it works. Xbox One controller is totally fine. Not sure what happened with the Series X/S controller. The rumble was working fine a few days ago and still works in other games (tested it on Horizon Zero Dawn just now and it worked without issue). Your controller isn't broken. Its just the game. I sent a bug report to the Devs, so hopefully they patch it soon. Hope this helps.
