Bug: What a mess: Clear the Clog

i Missed the Location of this quest when i first got it and chalked it up to not having the levitate ability to gain access to it, after wandering around later in the campaign i found the Clog and happened to the Charge Weapon currently equipped. I figured why not and shot the monster, this killed him in one shot and ended the quest. I wanted to do it the proper way so i proceeded to finish the puzzle in the room but nothing happened. I ended up looking a video to see how the quest progresses normally and found that due to The Clog being dead i could not drain him or unlock the door to go below where the loot is. I was hoping the Developer might notice this post and Fix this in an update, either make the monster invulnerable until drained or prevent the charge blast from killing him through the floor.

Posting 2 years later to confirm that this is indeed still not fixed. RIP those chests I see down there. :(

The last real update was in Sept. 2020 thus this is not much of a surprise considering this thread is from Dec. 2020.
