when do we get hover?

I´m over 12 hours in the game and wonder when I get hover. There was one place where I died and couldnt get in again - bug or no bug I dunno, but I fear that that place would have been where we get hover :/

Atm I´m in the Black Rock Quarry searching a way to get up.

You're actually not too far away from it. I did Black Rock Quarry last night and I got hover this morning. You have maybe another hour of gameplay at most until you get it.

well not really haha. Several hours, still nothing. But maybe I´m just slow. Shooters are not my favorite games. Thanks anyways.

That might be, if the boss wouldnt wipe the floor with me. Those 2 or 3 shot mobs with no possibility to heal are far from fair.

I just learned he seems to have a special that ignores my shield and kicks like 2/3rd of my life away. pfff

I just did the boss earlier and what I did is I had my telekinesis at max at that point, and I stood behind cover to my left, which got the boss in a kind of loop of trying to get to me but he kept circling around, while i launched stuff quickly and wiped out as many enemies that were in the air as I could. And then there were only two or so left, 3 including the boss. I mind controlled the two, and then kept hammering away at the boss while remaining behind cover. You can pretty much cheese it if you just keep launching stuff at him from a distance, unless you haven't upgraded launch at all. I haven't upgraded shields or hp or anything, just focused on launch and launch mods

Respecced all into launch and the rest in health and then it was np. :)
Oneshot the adds and tried not to receive his special hit.

And now the hoover challenge yey! :)

Yeah launch is overpowered. I maxed it out as soon as I could, you can pretty much instakill anything that isn't a boss lol. And hover is fun. Once you get to the Panopticon in containment sector, look for the Alan Wake easter egg, it's somewhere on floor 5 and you need hover to get to it. Fun little secret

All the so called secret areas I found dont got anything special exept for the game to tell that it is a secret area. That's just sad.
