mission help

[Why Did You Look?]

just got into a mission called "the enemy within". theres a bunch of clocks and then you come across a huge gap with a fast travel point next to it. when i look at the gap Jesse says "how am i supposed to get across that"? i tried going into the pitch black down below a couple times but i feel like i missing something. am i supposed to come back to this later?

I'd be really, really mad at you for being one of those people that come back and go "Nvm, solved it" without even giving the solution, but the Majima pfp along with saying "I fingered it out" gets you a free pass.

You need to just keep playing the game until you get levitate.

Not really. If you notice when you get to the big gap there's a crate that has a bigger evade energy boost than you likely have in your inventory. That allows you to just keep tapping evade until you cross the gap. If you lose too much height try getting on top of the crate and start from there. I have found lack of height is more often the problem than evade energy.

The bigger problem is once you start the Anchor fight, the game can crash quite often.
