White Graphic Artifacts/Glitches...?
Has anyone had issues with this weird white specks showing up and blinking all over the game? This is the only game that I've seen anything like this, so it does seem to be Control that's the problem. I've changed tons of settings/driver installs/reinstalls to see if anything gets rid of it, Nothing.

It's crazy annoying to see them flickering all the time

(yes I know it's not on steam, but it's still probably the best place to ask)

Thanks in advance

Your graphics card is probably slightly broken. Could also be an issue with motherboard or power supply resulting in your graphics card behaving badly. But it's likely the graphics card itself. White squares are a common artifact in a card that is failing / overheating. Turning down the graphics setting so it is less taxing may help. But unless there's a specific bug that generates white squares, you'll probably see this in other similarly intensive games too.

Thanks for the reply. The screenshot you provided is looks like what I'm experiencing, funny enough I have that game and I don't have that issue there and it is also a pretty intensive game on higher settings. It also doesn't appear during benchmarks. Reducing the load on the card by changing resolutions and graphic settings in Control doesn't affect it at all. In fact the white squares reflect the change in resolution by becoming larger. I'm not convinced it's the card yet, it is only a few months old and have had no issues, I'll have to wait till I see it pop up somewhere else to see if it really is the card or not.

Thanks again
Same issue. I dont know if it is related to the fact that i tryied to overclock my 1070TI, but now i reset back to factory settings, and glitches are still there. https://imgur.com/a/VNef4sB

I get this too. Bump up msaa from 2 to 4 and it'll get a bit better.
I got a fine working overclocked 1070 and some okay cpu.
I had similar thing in rdr2 which I managed to get almost completely rid off by disabling soft shadows.
Here idk if it's same issue but looks like some ssao lightning issue or smtn idk. They're are tiny dots all over my game. In rdr2 it was only on edges of leaves if I had msaa ehich I disabled and it worked. And the dots like those at edges of shadows which got better with soft shadows turned off but is still there.
All other game's seem fine.

Updating for anyone having similar issues. It was in fact my graphics card that was going bad (Thank you Gradius). Got it RMA'd and issues are no more.
I also decided to keep my card cooler, I know these RX 5700s run pretty hot (and supposedly within spec) but I shifted around some fans and cooling settings to keep it down below 75c. Just to make sure high temps don't start to affect this one as well.

If it does not happen in other games ignore the guy who said your GPU is broken...

I really believe it's just the game acting weird time to time with how it renders lighting...

Yeah, don't just run out to get a new card. I waited till it started showing up in other games.

Same here... R5 3600, rx5700xt, asus B550-F board, thermaltake 700W PSU, win10, dual LG monitors (2160p 60hz and 1440p 144hz).

I bought and downloaded the game today and after going into the settings, there was flickering everywhere!!! Even after I launched the game, I minimized the tab and opened it back up and the display appeared to be color inverted.

There are loads of problems which need to be fixed, and until then, I'm not playing the game.

OR

I'll wait till September 1st for the RTX 3000 series and I'll return my current rx5700xt.

This is an issue with global reflections. Unfortunately it's happening since it launched on epic, cause if you google for that specific issue, a few results show up. Has nothing to do with your gpu dying like some people think.

It's been a year and they didn't seem to fix it, since the RTX options look superior. Maybe it's intended, or a bug the devs never bothered to look into.
I just looked this up since it happened when I launched the game today, but it wasn't present yesterday when I first played it?

There is weird global reflections issues in this game, but that's something completely different and looks completely different. It's not what was happening in my case. For most people, its probably not gonna be the card. But if it looks exactly like my original posts, and you start to see graphic artifacts in OTHER games as well, it could be the card and you should test with another similar card if possible.
