This game is ugly

Low res textures everywhere, everything is shiny and glossy, everything is blurry, poor animations. I do not understand why people are praising this games visuals? Also it performs like crap even on very high end PC hardware.

I just got over finishing Metro Exodus which kills this graphically. Also Horizon Zero Dawn and Red Dead 2 kill this games visuals.

I can say Im having more fun with this than Metro. Fun>graphics.

Honestly it is like I am reading / playing a different game!

Maxed out on Ultra at 1440p ultra wide the game looks perfectly fine.

I'm certain that they are supposed to be intentionally blurry, e.g. the entire monologue of the room and the painting from the intro. You don't know what you're really looking at until you get close. My evidence for this hypothesis? Everything else is crisp and clear except for the paintings/portraits from a distance.

No. It's not supposed to be that way.

It's a bug. Which is why it happens differently depending on game settings and which API you're playing on.

Was gonna unsub then I noticed and laughed at the high level of butthurt, even after how much time has passed. That silly tunnel vision even after many months have passed when many people have moved onto other games while someone stays offended over trivial issues from..... August 2019. Yeah, fun>Graphics.

Yeah I booted up Bioshock 2 remastered in 1440p and it looks better then this game lol.
