i want to buy this game but i don’t know if act 2 is the ending or there are more coming

I've played through the game three times, changing my answers completely for the last playthrough, and I can't seem to get to act 2? I can only choose August in the first option, every time, and no matter who I choose for the second option, the game just goes to the end and the credits roll. Steam is telling me that Act 2 is installed, what am I missing?...

When will the next episode be out?

Is any progress being made on Act III? Do you anticipate it being ready for any quarter of 2023 or is it on hiatus? It's been delayed quite a bit, and the last tumblr post from June 2022 says it was expecting to have a store page in a few weeks, then the next update in November 2022 says "That didn't go according to plan". Just looking for any news as to progress....

I've only been playing Act 2 for about five minutes, but I just wanted to say that Ethel is a really beautifully written character, and even though I suspect happiness is not in the cards for her immediate future, I'm already completely invested in her story too. Hats off to the dev for her amazing work ! ...
