Keyboard and mouse tutorial?
So the tutorial doesn't tell you the commands for keyboard and mouse? It's been years since I played this and I wanted to play on KBM but the game gives you no indication other than going and looking in the extra options menu. I'm certainly not gonna try to memorize that by going into it every time I naturally forget a keyboard command. That's disappointing.

Well, you can't just call up the tutorial at any point either unlike the binding config (where you can also change things to where it's more suitable for you).

Most things aren't that important though.

WASD and mouse buttons are intuitive.
Q is important for specials. Remember/rebind that one.
R reload is intuitive, but not required since you auto reload.
E for counter attacks is not available without upgrade and not technically required.
F for lock on is not really required with mouse input (much faster than stick).
TAB for next target as well.
H for healing and 1-6 for quick swap are actually new features the game never had before.

And I'm sure you can remember the essential space for battle mode. :)

I'll keep these in mind. I'll try rebinding keys once I get a little further in. Thanks for the advice! I just learn better with a proper tutorial.

I always use F11 to open up to config tool and have a peek at the keyboard configuration.

Certainly!

I can imagine it's quite awful trying to do the tutorial while either searching for the corresponding keys or having to go into the config tool. It opens with F11 by the way.

Awesome! Thanks! I'm loving replaying it so far so I'll definitely play around with the key bindings
