Difficulty differences are mainly between languages (playing in Japanese or not) rather than platforms for the most part.

But I have not checked yet, whether killer8 boss difficulty has been faithfully recreated for Japanese.

(According to this, JP killer8 should have larger damage sponges that the other languages: https://www.speedrun.com/Killer7/guide/vrviv#ch4Killer8 ...?)

edit: you can try playing this part in English or using more charge shots than healing towards the end
