It's not
-Go into the fight with all 5 thin blood vials; healing is really helpful especially in sustaining your beefy boys (Harman and Mask) who also are the best damage dealers for this fight. If you die, rather than reviving your fallen persona with Garcian, make a save beforehand where you have 5 vials in the Harman's Room right outside the fight and savescum like hell
-Start with Harman; since Ayame moves much slower at the beginning of the fight, you'll be able to take a lot of health off her without much difficulty aiming and with little risk to yourself since Harman is so tanky
-Once Harman gets to the lowest stage of health (when the eye in the top right is about to close) and you're out of vials (or have as many as you want to hold onto for the rest of the fight), switch to Mask and continue dealing damage. Harman can't be leveled up, but having good power (level 4-5) and speed (level 3-5, though having 4-5 will make a huge difference) on Mask can help you get a lot more punches in for this stage. He's also great for the later stages when she's absolutely sprinting since you can just aim at the ground around her to deal damage rather than needing the precision to land direct hits
-When Mask gets to similarly low health, switch to any other character. I used Dan because I had leveled up his stats quite a bit, but you basically just want to keep hopping to different personas when they're low on health to avoid dying and having to restart the whole fight. IMO the rest of the level has easy enough enemies that you can farm blood and heal them all back up later (especially if you have a character or two with Critical Lock-On), but for now surviving this anime girl is priority number one. If you do it right and get enough damage in early, even with the squishier (and weaker hitting) personas you can finish her off rather quickly
That's the strat I used to beat her. Definitely the trickiest and most frustrating part of killer8 thus far, but hopefully some of this can help others tackle this insanely tedious battle too.
