Ambulance will not unload patient to Trauma Centre

My ambulance is sat outside with the doors open (i.e a patient is inside it) and will not unload the patient to the Trauma Centre. The potential patient care pathways (TC to diagnostics, ward, HDU or ICU and then surgery) are all available and I have idle staff in the Emergency Department (which the TC is part of). Any suggestions?

I had this problem in the third tutorial. The only solution was to start over again. This game is quite interesting, but it's full of frustrating design mistakes and bugs. Hopefully the developers can at least fix the bugs soon.

Yup, started again, making maximum usage of copying my rooms as custom prefabs to save time. Really annoying though...

I let it run for 7 days after this and the two TC patients were not moved to another dept. The only thing I can think of is that there are not enough ED doctors in the on call rooms to handle rounds of the observation rooms and treat in TC but throughout the week even 1 doctor should be able to pop in to TC and I didn't see that happening.

So do you have a free beds on surgery department? Regular or HDU ... depends which one they need ... if yes, then it's a bug probably ... so I would ask you to report this bug on our forum with the save file please. So we can reproduce and fix it.

I had this bug, resolved it by sending patient from ambulance manually to another department.

How do you select a patient in an ambulance?

I don't remember clearly now, but i think from patients list for Emergency.

I had this issue. There was no where to put the patient. An ambulance patient is going to the Trauma Center. I had only 1 Trauma Center room and there was already a patient in it. That patient couldn't be moved because I had no beds available in Observation.

Another thing you can do is switch to build mode item placement. Look for GREEN items. This will quickly tell you which beds, exam tables, operating tables are currently already reserved for a patient.
