Infectious Unit Patient needs ICU?
I don't quite follow it. The patient has Ebola and passed out seconds before seeing a doctor yet the game is wanting me to put the (Highly infectious patient) in ICU?

I literally spent $15000 on three state of the art quarantine rooms and i don't even have an ICU yet so what am i meant to do here?

Congratulations on your state of the art quarantine rooms. I am relatively new to Project Hospital, but this is what I know. Hospitalized patients that "pass out" or "collapse" are sent to ICU. Even the ones in quarantine are sent there via encapsulated stretchers. Upon being placed in an ICU bed, you see a little "tent" enclosure that is placed atop the patient.

Until you get an ICU built, I suspect that you will have to "transfer" the patient to another hospital.

Thanks for the reponse,

I must admit that is some total BS that a game like this can't understand simple things like quarantine.

The fact that all patients are forced ICU and can't be force moved anywhere else makes life ten times harder than it has to be. The literal fact that the room has both life support and a respiration machine and "Still" unable to take terminally ill patients there.

Real hospitals have sections of ICU/HDU for covid.

They don't have to go into the ICU. When I first started, I had an ICU that was always at 100% capacity so I found this trick. When a patient starts collapsing, undiagnose them by clicking on the icon. That patient, instead of going straight to the ICU, goes to the Trauma Center where you can fix what caused them to crash (i.e. dehydration.)

I also do this with clinic patients when I found their diagnosis but they didn't make it back to the Dr in time to get admitted. When they have 100% diagnosis, I take it off so they go to Trauma Center instead of ICU where I patch them up and send them to the correct department.
