Waiting room not accessible and department not working
Hi guys, I am new to this game. Originally my departing was running well. However, after I expanded the hospital and fired a couple staffs, my waiting rooms became inaccessible. I tried to build more waiting rooms but it didn't work. My questions are:
1. (urgent) What is the prerequisites of an accessible waiting room?
2. (urgent) I looked up online and some people say it is related to assigning waiting room to a department. Where is the icon for the assignment?
3. (optional) When the patients are undergoing treatment (orange status), should I press the go home button and send them home
4. (optional) Is it possible to demolish foundation?
5. (optional) how to attract more patients?

These are the screenshots for your reference. Thanks so much for your help!

Hi! From your writing it seems you are struggling with some of the main features and I would recommend going through the tutorial again. But I will gladly respond to your questions and hopefully will give you some push to help you in the game. :-)

1. Not much, basically, there must be a way for patients to get in, for example, if the whole area is surrounded by a wall without a door or a floor without an elevator, the room is inaccessible. Sometimes the situation may be a little bit complicated. If you, for example, make the only access through a room normally forbidden to the patient to cross (Common room, Cleaning closet… in management, mode floor is highlighted in red color) or you set a restriction zone preventing the patients from entering the area (one line on tiles working as a barrier), patients cannot enter the waiting room.

2. The workflow of assigning/zoning a room and reassigning a room is similar. You enter a Management mode (F7), and in the down-left part of the screen are the icons representing the departments. Choose the desired department then a room and by clicking and dragging, zone / rezone the room. Same mechanic is also used for planning the rooms or layout of the department, etc.

3. Only the patients under the direct control of the player must be sent home manually, the rest will go without the player's action after they receive the treatment or recover from the operation.

4. Yes, you are looking for a dynamite tool (located in Building mode/Foundations operations)

5. There are many ways how to do it - for example:
- Contract as many insurance companies as possible.
- Complete as many insurance company objectives as possible.
- Keep your Prestige as high as possible
- Enable events
