Rough Night
Some of my patients complain of a "rough night." I usually give them analgesics, but that doesn't help. Is there anything I can do? Or is a rough night simply a consequence of being in the hospital overnight that nothing can be done about?

I think it always occurs for interrupted sleep. That is, either the patient got hospitalized at night or was woken up for treatment/diagnosis/collapse.

Okay. Thanks! I guess if you spend the night in a hospital, nurses are gonna check up on you every so often...
