My Special Procedures Unit in the Internal medicine Dept. is idle, while patients are waiting for operations... What can I do?
I'M bleeeeeeding money like hell. They game automatically assigns the operations as treatments to my patients, but no one does a thing, and they get transferred away. Surgery for my doctors "Can not be enabled in this workplace" They did like 2-3 operations and that's it

Sorry to hear you're having trouble. To troubleshoot the issue, we'll first want to look at what it says that your patient and staff members are doing.

When you look at the patient, does it say that they're waiting for transfer to treatment, waiting for an available room, idle, or does it say something else? When you look at your nurses and doctors, does it say that they are reserved for the treatment, transporting the patient, idle, or does it say something else?

It may also be worth looking at your staff numbers and your room composition. Are there enough nurses in the nurse's station assigned to patient transfers or are they preoccupied with patient care or with other transfers?

Are there enough doctors in the on-call room assigned to diagnostics or are they all preoccupied with other treatments or examinations?

Does the Special Procedures unit have all necessary equipment? Is the room drawn correctly and are patients able to enter the room? Are there enough stretchers?

The room is accessible and fully equipped, I used the prefab for it. I have two doctors and 3 nurses, one nurse doing only patient transfer. What's slightly odd and might be the problem, is that under the 'Allowed Roles' section of my on-call room doctors, surgery is greyed out and "Can't be enabled at this workspace'. Despite this, however, MIEPs are scheduled for some patients, and the tooltip doesn't say anything is missing. Although, for some reason, no surgeries as scheduled at the department.

Sorry for forgetting about this post.

Do you still need help with the internal medicine department?

Your might be short on stretchers / wheelchairs and / or free nurses with patient transport enabled (in your Internal Medicin department).

Sure, if you have the time. Thanks! Although I no longer have the save, as i decided to start over, try to see if the problem was born of my mistake.

Sorry that I couldn't help you out in time. If the issue persists in the new save or if there's anything I can do to help, please let me know and I'll try my best!
