Hospitalization costs
Hi everyone, this post is intended to help you with the economical planning of your hospitalization.
After a lot of prove and fail and restarting a new hospital, I realized that once you open one hospitalization, you kind of need to open all of them, because you would always have patients who needs to be hospitalizated on a department you haven't build yet, e.g. you have just emergency and general surgery hospitalization and you'll have patients for all the others hospitalizations who would need to be transfered to a different hospital. Personaly I don't like to transfer patients, and (I think, I'm not 100% sure) this affects your hospital prestige.
So, I took the time to calculate how much it would cost to build hospitalization for all the departments.
I calculated the prices of the prefabs (without fundations), exept for restrooms which I built personalized, but cost almost the same as the prefabs.
The buildings I calculated are:
For ALL departments: one on-call room (8x6), one nurse station (8x6), one common room (8x6), one cleaning closet (6x4) and one (personalized) restroom (6x4).
For Emergency: two observation rooms (14x6) and two trauma centers (6x6).
For General surgery, Cardiology, Neurology, Orthopaedy and Internal Medicine: two diagnostic units (6x6), one regular ward (12x6), one HDU (12x6) and one OR (12x6)
For ICU: two ICU (16x6).
Building all of this (without foundations, that will cost a little bit extra), using prefabs would cost you $711950. Not sure how much extra it would cost for the foundations, I would save an extra $100000 just in case.

Hope this is useful to you.
