Easier in/out wall painting?

Could something be added to automatically paint the inside part of an exterior wall with one pattern and exterior with another, to make building walls less tedious?

Indeed, I was thinking like the sims 4 how you hold ctrl or something and it auto paints selected room with selected paint, wallpaper. Its a minor thing but a Quality of Life improvement haha.

The wall pattern shows up which ever way you are facing. So if you face towards the building you can place exterior walls. Then if you face outwards you can place a different interior wall pattern on the same wall.
