Hello, I am are sorry to hear about the issue, but there are always some things we can try in order to get the game running. Did you already try some of the common practices like verifying game files, reinstalling, graphic card driver update? Would you please share HW and SW specifications of your device? Also, would you please upload the log file to our forum [projecthospital.forumotion.com], share a google doc link, or send us by any other means? Information from log should give us the information about in what state the launch process is interrupted.

I waggly remember an old bug report. Back then the author mentioned a similar detail about the game sound. Would you please try to launch the game in windowed mode?

Hello, thank you for the log file we've checked it out and the issue seems "familiar". We've managed to dig out an older related thread. It seems that the most possible cause could be that Unity-made games causing trouble on laptops with both integrated and NVIDIA graphics. The solution seems to be to update both NVIDIA and intel cards and force the game to run on integrated graphics but please note that only certified drivers from your laptop's manufacturer will do the trick. I am also attaching a link to the aforementioned thread where the whole issue is described more broadly and you can find more topic-related links.

I don´t know if i did something wrong but it doesn´t work. I updated the Intel card and the NVIDIA and forced the game to run on integrated graphics.

Hi, in the meantime we've found an old steam thread under SCP: Secret Laboratory discussion. The game is also made with Unity and HW configuration should match yours (i5-7300HQ CPU, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050). https://steamcommunity.com/app/700330/discussions/1/1743386555596218171/ It seems that their solution for a similar problem was forcing the laptop to use the NVIDIA card instead of the integrated. You could also try the forcing procedure with the tutorial at hand. https://www.windowscentral.com/how-force-your-surface-book-use-its-dedicated-gpu-games The information about the type of your integrated graphic card would be quite helpful because unlike the Nvidia it isn't specified in the log file. You did not mention it specifically so I am asking just to be sure. Did you download the certified drivers from your laptop's manufacturer? I also guess that one of the options left unexplored would be trying to switch to the older drivers. Could you try that?

I tried forcing the game to use the NVIDIA card but it also doesn´t work. I updated the Intelcard by using the driver from my laptop´s manufacturer. But there wasn´t a driver for the NVIDIA card. Im updating the NVIDIA card by the geforce experience programm.
I could try to use older driver versions.

I decidet to update every driver that is available on the website from my lapto´s manufacturer and now it works. I don´t know what exactly was the problem now, but the game is running as it should. Thank you for your help! :)

Without previous experience, who would guess that there is such a difference between drivers from the device manufacturers and those produced by component manufacturers. I certainly not. Anyway, I am glad to hear that the game is now running fine :-)!
