Hi all, this is a place to collect feedback about the game's controls on the Steam Deck when those of you who ordered their kits start to receive them. If any of you make alternative controls configs, also please let us know!

In fact, it should be fixed to make the characters in the game walk less and work more. After doing a little work, he went to rest, for example, the doctor was treating the patient. Thank you for making this game fully compatible on the Steam Deck. I don't get mine till some time in Q3 but looking forward to playing this one on it. Appreciate you game devs taking the time to do this for those of us who enjoy your game.

Thanks for putting in on the steam deck but I just spent 1+ hours scaling the UI and playing with it undocked.

-The bottom UI is too small and when you scale it up, it all mushes together and cover overs over each other
-Scaling the MAIN UI, (patient etc.) it makes the menus too big and they overlap outside the screen boundaries. Too small and they are very hard to read which is a big portion of the game.

Ideally I think you'll need to add scroll bars to the windows, allowing them to be bigger but scrollable. Mashinky did a good job of this with their UI and I've played hours on the steam deck.

I hear ya my friend. I find it annoying that my doctors go on so many breaks. Its not only that, but to get a drink of water, they walk to a water cooler half way across the hospital when there is one not far from the doctors offices. Then, when they get back from getting some water, they go to the bathroom, then go to the doctors lounge, and then go back to their offices. This happens at least twice a day. Why cant they make all the stops at once and get it over with so they can work the rest of the shift.

So I bought this to play on the steam deck and I hear the music when I start it up but I just see like a light lavender screen and I can’t do or click anything please help so I can enjoy your game

Hi, we double-checked the game on our just updated Steam Deck and the game seems to start normally - could you please check:
- The installation itself via "Verify integrity of game files" under properties in your library?
- Are you running the native Linux version and not via Proton?
- Does Steam give you options about which OpenGL version to run the game with? Which one have you chosen?
As the next step we could try to have a look at the log file, but hopefully we'll find what the issue was sooner. :)

Hello, my steam deck is up to date, I went and verified the integrity of game files, I’ve launched both OpenGL versions and still get the same outcome and I put it to steam Linux runtime 1.0 (scout) I really want to enjoy this game :(

Hi, it looks like there have been some reports of issues with OpenGL in Unity games on the SteamDeck recently, maybe last month or two - I've added a Vulkan option to the launcher, could you please try that and see if it solves the issue on your side?

Our deck still seems to run the game ok with both vulkan and opengl options, so I'm mostly basing this on other info and solutions posted online, hopefully it still helps. Example:

Thank you so much for fixing this !!! I’ve wanted to play for awhile now and couldn’t since the steam deck wasn’t working with it. I have a terminal lung disease and you literally have no idea how much you just helped me not be in a dark place because of your game.
