Moving PC's

Can you seriously not move a PC while someone is assigned to it and have to plop down a new desk and PC just to move them? Seems really dumb imo.

Yep, things in use cannot be moved. You either have to do it the way you do, or close the department so everyone goes home and the object you want moved is freed up. It's annoying.

adding a new workspace and re-assigning the workers, doctors, they will continue their work there directly, except they have an active action like doing a blood test etc. then you cannot delete the old one till they are finished. but no one needs to go home.

selling the old desks etc will give you the full money back, if you are using the
"maximum refund mod" from the workshop.

I thought maybe they would have made an easier solution for this. All I wanted to do was move the desks a space over so it's kind of a pain to go through that.

@trinity20kau even shutting the department down doesn't properly work, because then the desk gets duplicated instead of moved.
It just seems like such a weird design decision. Reworking departments is a breeze until you hit a desk. Then it's suddenly this janky mess.
