How is the final payment of the patient calculated?
In the information panel of the insurance company, there is a "Cover cost modifier for patients sent by this insurance company", which is different for every insurance company. In the prestige tooltip, there is an insurance payment percentage. Each disease has its own original cost.

How is the patient's final cost calculated based on these three values?

Give a case I encountered in the game:
A patient sent by Overcure Inc was diagnosed with hay fever. The Cover cost modifier of Overcure Inc is 170%, the insurance payment percentage of my hospital is 120%, the original cost of hay fever is $150, but the patient’s final payment is $170. How was this result calculated?

Hi, the original cost of hay fever is 100$. Mouse hover popup tells you the recalculated cost according to which insurance company sends the patient (Overture 150$) but it did not count the insurance payment percentage bonus (in our case 120% = 20$ difference between pop-up and the final payment) already displayed in the insurance companies table as 170%. Hope that makes sense :-). Thank you for pointing it up. It will be fixed by the next patch.

Thank you for your answer. Before that, I always mistakenly thought that the cost of mouse hover popup was the original cost of disease.

By the way, there is a translation error in the simplified Chinese version of the game.
At the bottom of the prestige tooltip, "Bonus from events" is incorrectly translated as "时间奖励" (It means "Bonus from time" in chinese). The Chinese pronunciation of "time" and "event" are similar, and their phonetic spelling is almost the same, but the intonation is different, their spelling of Chinese characters is different. I hope you can tell the Chinese translator about this matter
