[Edit]
There are some exceptions. The patient pool will react immediately to some events like department closed/open, insurance company enabled/disabled, and the presence of an ambulance.
Lmes is of course right. Some tweakables like the number of floors need to be set also in separate tweakable.xml in the DLC folder. The path should look like this:
Steam\steamapps\common\Project Hospital\ProjectHospital_Data\StreamingAssets\Addons\DLCInfectiousDiseases\Database
I made:
"TWEAKABLE_PATIENT_LEAVE_TIME_HOURS"> <Value>48</Value>
"TWEAKABLE_PATIENT_LEAVE_WARNING_HOURS"> <Value>45</Value>
"TWEAKABLE_PATIENT_MAX_WAIT_TIME_HOURS"> <Value>24</Value>
They still start complaining after a couple of hours.
@ProHolmes, the log file location (just in case):
- Win: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Oxymoron Games\Project Hospital\output_log.txt
- Win: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Project Hospital\ProjectHospital_Data\output_log.txt (older versions, before 1.0.14398)
- Linux: /home/USERNAME/.config/unity3d/Oxymoro
Before I set 10, they were complaining even if I've just sent them home treated.
It was strange to see "John Smith will leave soon bla bla bla" while watching John Smith going home fully satisfied.
