noob here, how do waiting rooms work?

Opened my first radiology but it says it requires a waiting room. I already have a waiting room though. Is there a way to link the waiting room to other offices or does each department need it's own waiting room?

If you want, you can dedicate half of an actual waiting room to one department and dedicate the other half to another department. It'll just be 2 rooms joined as 1.
