anesthesiologist in emergency ward

The game includes anesthesiologists with acute medicine for hire and can be assigned to the emergency ward- why would this be? I figured the only viable specialization combo with acute medicine for this ward would be advanced diagnosis...

Doctors with the anesthesiologist skill are better at stabilizing patients and increase the chances of those patients to survive longer.

There is this line in the tweakables.xml:

My on-call room is staffed with 2-4 doctors with the anesthesiologist that do the initial stabilization of new patients (and later on normal diagnosing/treating work) and 2-3 doctors with other skills that are focused exclusively on diagnosing patients.

It is the same with the doctors working at the ICU ... they are all anesthesiologists.

IRL, anesthesiologists are critical in the ER and ICU. Part of the job of an anesthesiologist is to maintain homeostasis within the patient, basically making their sole purpose to stabilize the patient. They're also needed to operate the anesthesia machine in the trauma bays.
