How do I manage a queue?
Too often a patient with critical condition would end up sitting in the waiting room for HOURS in order to talk to their doctor and finally get the treatment they need (even if it's something that assumes that it needs to be done urgently, like intensive care hospitalization). There must be a way to boost those suffering dudes up in the line, how to do that?

PANIC!!! AHHH! Just kidding :) I don't know of any ways to prioritize patients outside of designating them "code blue" (icon on patient card near top left). otherwise reducing bottlenecks by adding doctor's office staff AND the downstream services including labs and radiology ect.

On the patient card, it's the little blue cross to the right of the stars under the portrait. I've moused over it in the screenshot below to show the tooltip:

When it's active it looks like this:

Once this is active the patient will jump ahead of any normal hazard patients in the queue.

You're not going to believe me, but I don't recall ever seeing a blue cross icon on any patient card so far ._.
But perhaps the first campaign I'm currently playing is somewhat limited in terms of what I can do

I am in sandbox mode and I haven't this blue cross either. This is really annoying when doing events and the timer runs out just because the patient spent some time in the labs and then returns to a full waiting room, although there are 10 docs at the job. Sometimes he thinks, he must get to the toilet and then he is back in line. I have failed 4 events because of this currently and I think I have enough rooms and personal.

Nope and now I am feeling really stupid. I thought this was patched into the game. I missed the free DLC totally.

Having a reception desk helps things along, as they triage patients with more urgent symptoms and bump them up the queue

It was all about not having the DLC installed. I was totally confused as I had the paid DLC active and heared about features I did not see.

I don't have that card how do I activate the free DLC??

I looked and it says Doctor DLC is in my library. When I click download it boots the game but still don't have code blue button.

What the??

Look at the game in your library, scroll down, and to the right hand side, there will be a section called 'DLC'. Click 'manage dlc' and it'll show you the dlc you have. You have to check the 'enable' box THEN load the game

Figured it out, I had to go to manage downloads and que update. It downloaded like 1 kb and worked. Thanks

They could have implemented this free DLC directly into the main game. This is confusing.
