What is meant by "Tweakable collapse repeat min and max hours." Also, "Risk of collapse start and risk of collapse end hours"?
what do these mean/do?

The first one pretty sure the min and max times that a collapse, like exhaustion, can reoccur after been treated (given the symptom that is causing the collapse hasnt been treated). So itll wait the min before it is retriggered and itll randomly choose a time between the min and max to retrigger.
Risk of collapse start and end is the start hour after the patient arrives or the symptom is triggered, that the collapse can occur. Say someone is bleeding, it might take an hour before it is serious and they go into shock so the start hour be 1. It won't occur before this. The end hours is the last time it can happen, so if i set that to 4 for the above example, the patient might collapse from shock between 1 to 4 hours on arrival or start of symptom. It is generated at random between this timeframe.
Hope that helps!

Yes. Very much so! Thanks!

Can we edit those parameters that are not in tweakables? In fact I have, though it seems like my edits are not working. There's a real bad misalignment in this game between certainty of diagnosis for a dept/collapse symptoms. In the time it takes a dept to verify a diagnosis on "high" confirmation level (even with many rooms and staffing) quite a few of the patients collapse and end up in the trauma center, then the ICU. Typically, an ICU unit in a hospital has fewer beds and a lower avg census (I worked in a hospital). This game skews this really badly.

Hi @Medjet, you can absolutely edit the tweakables one. Doing so will allow you to adjust when collapses will repeat (it will always repeat if the problem symptom isn't treated). Keep in mind they will always happen at some random time between the two times but you could make that longer and therefore less chance for it to be seen but only for repeats.
You can edit the collapse start and end on a per symptom basis, you could make it longer and start later so you have more of a chance to find the problem before the patient collapses (they will always collapse at some point). You'd have to edit every single one in the symptoms.xml to make a difference though.
Butch actually did this in his Realistic Collapses mod, I'd recommend you check it out if you haven't already.

Do remember that a collapse is not always related to the diagnosis but can be related to a symptom. Symptoms that are high hazard (red triangle) will always cause collapses (stock only unless mods keep to this standard) (they will blink on the symptoms part of the patient chart and the hidden eye will blink too if the patient has one that hasn't been found yet, only if you aren't playing specialist mode).
So you can find those easier using the possible diagnosis list for the patient but of course you'd need to do more manual work here.
Hope that helps!
