Are they correctly setup? Does every bed have a bedstand? Do you have a nurse and doctor station?

I added those 2 wards as a prefab, so I'm assuming everything is there (nothing is lighting up either, when I check them). Since they are added to a floor that already has multiple stations, I would think it would work properly, but it doesn't.
Are this two rooms the first in your ward? If yes, did you also build the Room for the nurses and Doctors and hired enough for the day and night shift? Also, some Departments need more rooms then the ward and the Nurse + Doctors room. The Surgery ward needs as an example also a Monitoring Room, an Operating room and a Diagnostic room. The Names may are different, as I don't play the English version.

If you already have a running ward and you just add this two rooms, can it be that you accidentally add it to another department? Happened to me sometimes

I'm starting to think that that's the case.... most of the rooms have the blue color, but the wards have the green color... I might have picked the wrong type >.<

AFAIK: The green and blue are the types. Blue is offices/diagnostic/treatment rooms. Green is wards, Red is "support"(labs, nurse station, doctor station, janitor room, restroom).

Could it be that the ward is in another department then the nurse/doctor station. for instance the ward is in the general surgery department and the doctor or nurse station is in the internal medicine department?

No, Color gives you the kind of permision patients have to visit those rooms. Green means Patient can go there. Blue means patients can go there only on invite. Red means forbidden for patients. You can change those colors in game. So for example you can have coridors where patients are not allowed. Standaard coridors have a green collor, after you changed the permision , the coridor will turn red.

I would check the employee's card. Each ward need 1 Dr. with advanced med. With their allowed role set to diagnosis/care only. 1 nurse with the adveanced skill, and set to care only. and 1 intern nurse, to fdo transport only. (The on call needs a surgeon, and Aneth...Not the ward)
