Project Hospital Wiki (WIP, editors needed!)
Hello,

I've been in love with this game ever since it's been released! I've taken the liberty of creating a wiki for all things Project Hospital:

http://projecthospital.shoutwiki.com/

A few things to note:
*I started the site a few hours before the time of this discussion posting. As such, it is very very barebones and should be considered a WIP. But seeing as the game itself is fairly new and there's lots of room for improvement/updates, I anticipate the wiki will also improve over time.
*There is an existing wiki with content hosted at Wikia (it seems like it was founded last year by an employee of Oxymoron Games). However I've chosen to use ShoutWiki as a hosting platform for its simplicity. Compared to Wikia, ShoutWiki has a simple, professional UI without the bombardment of advertisements, distracting graphics, and corporate culture. I have several years of wiki experience and can definitely say that the current subpar state of Wikia is not what I want this community to be involved in.
*Editors are needed to help build the site! MediaWiki is easy to pick up. Remember that anyone can change, add, or remove content. Every edit can be undone. We are merely players and volunteers. No profit is involved. All copyrights go to the devs.
*As the community widens, I'll eventually get into the nitty-gritty stuff like policies, adminship, etc.
*Lastly, since many of us are actual healthcare professionals, please remember to also be professional if you choose to participate in the wiki. Harassment is not allowed :(

+1 if you have considerable experience with MediaWiki and can help with the technicalities associated with site operation. Get in touch and help me build this wki from the ground up!

My username on the wiki is User:Synapse. I look forward to working with like-minded fans of this awesome game!

Do you need someone with medical knowaldge to explain procedures?

Okay, I have very little experience with wiki's but I'm going to try to help with this. If I screw something up, be patient with me because I will figure it out and fix it.

Site is not secure

This is really useful, I'm happy to help with this as it would be great to add info on the Cardio and Neuro diagnoses that don't have any pages. I've had a lot of experience with Wikimedia in editing/adding content for a (sadly now defunct) wiki about the building I used to work in and also Wikipedia.

I've now added all the Cardiology diagnoses to the Wiki: most useful!
http://projecthospital.shoutwiki.com/wiki/Diagnosis
If anyone here fancies checking it is all correct then that would be good.
I have deleted 'Cardiac arrest' from the list as the cardiology XML database file has it commented out with 'Delete obsolete diagnosis' but if I am wrong then I will happily revert it.
I'm hoping to do the same for Neuro...

I've now finished updating the Neurology diagnoses on the Wiki so now all the game's diseases/medical conditions should be documented in detail with symptoms, exams and treatments.

i have very good ideas of things to add
Sytandra Feb 29, 2020 @ 2:28am
I did all the diagnose pages (except for those garyreggae did, thanks for that), but I made them using a template someone else created, cause it was my first time contributing on a wiki (plus I'm not very creative). So if you guys have any ideas, create templates, I'm ready for the tedious work :)
Really nice work !

Hi,
I am an Italian user, I wanted to ask you if there is the possibility of creating a multilingual support.
I would like to contribute to the development of the Wiki, but I would also like to create an Italian wiki. Since there is a good starting point in your wiki I wanted to ask you if it was possible to create support for another language.

Alright I am going to file dive and update the departments to have listings of possible diags, money per, and all that.

If possible I might also add if it uses surgery for treatment as way to show possible requirements for surgery rooms and such.

Going through GS so far it might take about 3-5 hours to just take the info from the XML, this might be more annoying then I thought.
