I got my first one after I built the Gen. Surgery dept hospital. I didnt have any of the others. And, it was asking for a ambulance in no time. I may have had two depts open for hospital, by the time I got the reward. But, only the gen surgery asked for an ambulance. I didnt buy it. By the time I had all my depts running, each dept had the ambulance reward in the top left.
Also, you dont get the ambulance right away, after building the hos. of that department. There is a couple other goals to go through. If that helps.
I like to have 2 Internal med offices, 2 heart, and 2 psyc. The other always seem fine with just one.
Clinic Em Dr's are good to have advanced med. And their allowed jobs set to just diagnosis.
The TC dr. the same, but needs the surgey/TC job checked.
In a dept. surgery. AKA Nurses sation and ON. You know you need a surgeon, and a "sleeper". Plus a nurse with surgery skill. All three of those need their allowed job set to surgery only. They are the ones moving those patients through, and dont need to be checking on patients. Then you need 1 more Dr. with advanced med, who is set to diagnos, and NO surgey. 2 more nurses, 1 intern to do JUST transport, and another with critical nurse specalist. and its set to only care.
3 dr's and 3 nurses.
If you want to be doing night surgeries, you set a night crew the same way.
