Ambulance?

How do you place an ambulance? I put a parking spot for them but it says it cannot be placed outside of the Hospital zone?

1- Have you unlocked the ambulances?

2- Be careful to be on the first floor when you place the ambulance on the parking

Thanks, I figured it out. But I haven't received any ambulance calls and it's been two in game days. Is that normal?

Do you have Hospitlization set up for Emergency? You won't recieve any Calls until you have a working Trauma Center.

I do have a trauma unit, yes.

In addition to having the TC built, it also has to be "open". Go into Management mode, make sure Emergency is selected, and then check the screen on the right side (the Hospital section, not the Clinic section) to make sure you've got green check marks all the way down the line.

If this still results in no Ambulance patients, how certain are you when you say you "figured it out" regarding the placement of that parking spot? Maybe it still isn't placed correctly? I haven't spent enough time in Sandbox yet but it appears the Ambulance parking is already built into each of the "empty field" maps.

If you have Emergency Hospitlization all green and still not getting patients check your Insurance Company contracts to see if any will actually send you Emergency patients. You may not have any willing to do so yet.

So how'd you get it working? TC wasn't "open" before and now it is, or you got the parking spot sorted, or was the answer with the Insurance companies? Inquiring minds want to know! lol

It actually just started randomly working. Perhaps I got an insurance update that had to do with the ambulances that I didn't notice?

You can find the ambulances in build mode, under the walls tab. If it wont let you place it because it says outside of property, look for a different parking lot near a corner of the building. it will let you place it there.
