Starting Money

Is there any way to change the starting money in Sandbox mode?

Start the game you want, save it. Go into: C:\Users\User\AppData\LocalLow\Oxymoron Games\Project Hospital\maps and find the save zip file. Unzip and open with Notepad++, search for <m_currentBalance> and change the amount beside it. Save, compress, replace in original folder. Run, load, voila.

There's also a Tweakables file that has some fun things you can change (like adding more names) in: E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Project Hospital\ProjectHospital_Data\StreamingAssets\Database

You can add names in \Steam\steamapps\common\Project Hospital\ProjectHospital_Data\StreamingAssets\Database\Localization\StringTableEnNames.xml

Using Win Rar i had a similar issue:
edited the money like explained above but upon loading the save file initial money still was at 100k.

When i was trying again i realized that my compressed file was a "Win rar" type, all other savegames listed were "Win Rar Zip" files.

So i packed the edited files as "Zip" & it worked.

After loading the modded savefile (quote: Balance: 250.000$ in loading screen) the actual money still is at 100k.
So you have to edit both .xml files that you extracted (i only edited 1 of them).
