Night shift

I just bought the game and I cannot understand why I cannot hire and assign doctors for night shift in sandbox mode. How to I open for night shift?

I had a similar question as Piggy, fortunately what you posted here pretty much answered everything. There is still something left, I currently only have the "clinic" part, no hospitalization. So at night I can pretty much do nothing. Is there some way for speeding the night process even more or just skip it?

iatus there is a 'skip to next morning' option at the bottom but it does not speed up time that much.
