Hi,

Is it possible to remove the roof over foundations at all? For example, I would like to create an atrium with a high roof that vertically spans a few floors but the roof tiles are automatically applied above the foundation on the first floor.

Essentially, is there a way to prevent roof tiles appearing above foundation tiles?

I beleice you just need to dynamite the area you want open. . . Not sure if thatll work

If you dynamite the roof above a floor, you can't have floor - it counts as outdoors. And on the top floor if you dynamite the floor you can't have roof. To have an atrium area, one level needs floor but not roof, and another level wants roof but not floor, and the in between levels want neither roof nor floor

Hi, unfortunately you can't remove roof, over the foundations, but you can fake it, that you remove the foundation ... in floorTypes.xml you can copy paste floor you want to have it there and set parameter <Outdoors>true</Outdoors> (don't forget unique ID for the new floor types)

We'll take a look on this issue and try to solve it ;)

Of course I am not sure how much extra fun it will be to have atriums, since you can't see anything on the level below the one you have open, and if you're at the bottom you can't see anything above. Is it technically feasible we could have an option to see objects on lower levels, if the player decides they have a good enough computer?

Was this ever updates? I setup a hospital with this in mind only to realise I can't delete the roof, even if there is a roof a floor or two above :(

I had the same issue, I was trying to build the hospital I work at, which has a small atrium in the front.
