I would add it would be great to have something like an "on call" room for techs, especially for the night shift. I don't have enough volume to justify a full radiology staff, but it would be nice to have 1-1 employees be able to run whatever machines were needed by hospital patients. Similarly it would be great to have the sonography, cadigraphy and those types of rooms be reassigned to radiology department so that they can be shared by all departments and also shared by headcount through the on call room.
I mainly disagree with making recruiting cheaper. I'm all for additional options for having a more targeted search, but finding the right person for the job with perfect attributes shouldn't be easy.
Also, I agree that ultrasound should be treated like radiology. In my country, it's all lumped together as 'medical imaging'.
Guess he just wants a button for that - in the beginning. I pretty sure he doesnt want to take care of 300 patients.
also I agree where the nurse goes all the way to the otherside of the hospital to use a stretcher and not even use the one in the nurses station.
Id also like to see a trauma station just for collaspses as my nurses or doctors do nothing but a tech from the stat lab rushes out to deal with it??? why???
I would love a hospital cafeteria! And, dedicated patient transfer teams.
How about adding Obstetrics, Labor and Delivery, Neonatal ICU, and Pediatrics wards? Thought I don't actually want to hear those babies cry.
Maintenance Dept sounds good but equipment breaking down too often makes it frustrating will kill the fun for me.
For myself, I don't want an HR dept or any of those. I do like the idea of being able to send employees for additional training to up their skills.
Absolutely need a solution to collapsed patients. One of mine passed out in the bathroom and it took an hour for someone to find them. Meanwhile, I've paused the game to hunt down a way to alert someone to go get her. It was disheartening when I did not find a solution and just had to hope they didn't die.
Lastly, can we please have wall mounted TV's for all hospitalization wards? And maybe some carpeting options?
All the collapses in my hospital are usually dealt with from the lab too. I think it's because it finds the closed person who isn't 'reserved' for a task. I run a busy hospital, so this usually rules out doctors and nurses who will give priority to prescribing 'rest' to a patient over someone having heart failure on the corridor floor.
Children and pediatrics have been repeatedly ruled out by the developers as they don't want dead kids or babies. I play this game for fun, I don't want neonatal heart and organ failure.
