FOR REAL, Heroes of might and magic 7.5 has better graphic (for not speaking about 50x the content, but this is another point)

I like the art, but wouldn't mind if it was not _that_ pixelized. You barely actually see what's painted on the screen.

Also, it's an old indie trick to attract indie wojaks - they see ultra-pixelized graphics worse than 1990's games, they insta buy it.

The pixel art is great looking what are you on about? It's also deceptively more complex these days then it was back in the day. It has plenty of detail you know exactly what you are looking at with rhe designs in this game.

It may not be for you, but devs should not stop doing it because your displeased with it.

calling it "great" is ridicolous....... Have u ever played a single 2d isometric game, also 20/30 years old ones???? well they have better graphic, details and immersion than this "great" pixel ♥♥♥♥ trend of modern lazy untalented indie companies.

Ultima online (the best of the best ever), ufo x-com, jagged alliance, fallout, stronghold, diablo 1, poxnora. and 1 milion others.

Except ultima online i think i have played all of those games, all pretty good games honestly from what i recall. love the stronghold games personally!

Not sure how your gonna call this bad though, it looks pretty good honestly, just because its pixel doesn't mean its low effort, this kind of art can take a lot of effort and time to perfect. and its all moving pieces as well, not just static art. honestly my favorite aspect of the game is actually the art lol

Calling this ♥♥♥♥ is ridiculous it's very beautiful and specific and I don't think you realize how bad those games you talk about really look today. They didn't age well.

I played diablo 2 ressurection(remaster) and c&c remaster, you know, old game where you can switch between old and new graphics and let me tell you. Those old graphics look really really bad. Actually remastered graphics look like what I "remember" the old graphic looked like (very pixelated btw). If you talk about old games looking better than Songs of conquest I am 100% sure that's just nostalgia talking. Or hd graphic mods you potentionally see YouTubers playing.

I think the xcom one is the funniest although it's just a photo of the muton imgur marked it 18+ 🤣🤣 that's funny lol it's so pixelated I guess they did it automated rofl

Yeah I mean I love XCOM but...

I don't think it stands out as a great example of graphics

Ultima online is kinda ugly too imo, prefer 6

Stronghold is pretty though

Though I do like the HoMM 2 unit look more than this, but that's hard to beat

The sprite animations have intricate details and are super fluid and part of it's charm is the 2.5D look with more modern rendering techniques with dynamic lighting and DoF when zoomed in. It's a blend of old and new, which is just a pleasure to look at for me.

Wether this game, or pixel-art in general looks good or bad is purely subjective as is art in general. You should try treating it that way, too. Life's gonna be a lot less frustrating with that outlook.

I agree the pixel art in this game is a bit too pixelated. I am not opposed to the style in the least but cleaned up edges would be appreciated. That said I was directed to a 3rd party app called reshade I think and it has made a considerable improvement. Only issue there is you have to balance the graphics vs clear text but its workable.

Sure the Graphic Not That Good but if its Gameplay intresting,Engaging and Fun then its Nothing Wrong with it because its Indie Game in first Place its Not like they have lot money to do better graphic and aim for people that have better PC

The pixel art is the main reason I'm interested in this game. You are just a philistine who wouldn't know good art if it hit you in the face. It requires far more artistic skill to make art like this than the pre-rendered "art" in the games you mentioned.
