question about the vanir dlc

does the dlc come with a new campaign?

what are these "maps" they talk about in the dlc description. is this a new campaign or not?

It is not a new campaign, there are 6 new conquest and 2 new challenge maps, all vanir themend. If I understand it correctly they have planned to bring us the vanir campaign together with the roots campaign, after the roots dlc is finished.

I don't think Vanir/Roots campaing is in the plan for now, it was originaly with the double faction dlc but now campaings are scratched alltogher, hopefully tales will be brough back after some factions but "grand campaing" was promised/thought/hoped for after all new factions will be in game which is years from now.

BUT, there will be new roadmap after new year probably, depending on the Vanir sales.

aw damn, hopefully some tallented guys can make some nice campaigns. i guess they already exist, maybe even "remakes" of homm, or homm style fan made ones
