Skipping turns

In the campaign, I just skip turns and get infinite gold. So will it continue? Or are there any negative points in skipping a turn?

Depends on the campaign, your circumstances and the difficulty you're playing on. AI is somewhat decent, if playing on hard, but again, it depends on many things and needs more context from you.

If you're referring to a second mission for Arleon, on normal - I think Silkpool won't attack your first so you can just grow your army, but if playing on hard - your turns are limited and just by skipping them and doing nothing - obviously, you gonna lose.
