Lol, what the do you mean? The Unity Engine is great. Especially for these kinda of games.
Look at Ori and the Will of the Wisps, or Star Renegades. They are using Unity and are gorgeous.
These kinds of indie games wouldn't even be created like they are without something like Unity being available to them.
Hell, even 'Escape from Tarkov' uses the Unity Engine.
Just because you had a bad experience in another game that happened to use the Unity Engine, doesn't mean the engine itself is bad.
1) Unity 3D capabilities have been wasted
2) Somewhat related, "you should've used another (your own?) engine" to achieve the same effect. A choice (of home-made engine) I'd heartily welcome (not a small feat by any means, I'd rather support that kind of Devs).
3) Neither of above.
Shame. I had a feeling. Truly horrible engine. Oh well.
You genuinely have no idea what you're talking about if you think it's the engine's fault that whatever games you're pissed about are bad. Look up some proper videos about how good or bad Unity is from people actually working in games development, also look up how many good games are made on Unity. Whatever problem you're blaming on Unity it's more than likely because of the developer's lack of knowledge or skill.
