Why Turd Graphics?

The gameplay looks fantastic, why did you choose to ruin it with blurry "16-bit" diarrhea and choppy 3-frame animations? You actually managed to make it look worse than HoMM 1, and that released in 1995 on DOS.

Seriously though, why pixel graphics?

I'd much rather have normal graphics or drawn style characetrs and environments (Battle Brothers, The Banner Saga, Darkest Dungeon) than this. I get the art style, but it really seems like a poor choice for this type of game.

Oh well, maybe someone will come up with a HD mod. ;)

На мой взгляд, - это лучшая "реинкарнация" Героев.

Я видел много игр, которые пытались быть похожими на "HoMM III", но это все не то.
В них не было самого ДУХА, HoMM 3 - В Вашей Игре, все прекрасно!
Только одно расстраивает...

Слишком уж пиксельная графика!
(я понимаю когда ограничения Intel 486 DX4/66, Intel Petium II, и 800х600)

НО СЕГОДНЯ!? - Когда есть Intel i9, GTX 3080, итд. - ИМХО, ЭТО ОЧЕНЬ ОГОРЧАЕТ!

Какими прекрасными были (визуально) артефакты Героев из HoMM3!
Да ими можно было, ЧАСАМИ любоваться!

Да, я понимаю! Это не HoMM3, - это ВАША Игра, и ВАШЕ видение концепта, итд.
Но не делай этого! Я имею ввиду пиксельную графику.

Неужели появится Игра, - из-за которой, я снова не буду спать ночами,

HOMM 3 drawings are masterpiece. its rather hard to compete with those. Plus battle graphics here look pretty good. These guys didnt wants to just copy things, so they went into pixel direction wich is popular style, altho they could miss some market for those who dont like it.
Never the less, it could be first time in MANY years somebody make a current generation homm3 like strategy wich is nothing but amazing. Current homm3 Hota holds online lobby hold 3k people, hopefully this game can interest a pretty big community of homm fans.

Thanks guys! We realize pixel art isn't for everyone, but we found it to be the best way to capture an oldschool vibe which we really wanted to achieve. In the end, we are super happy with the result, but we understand than not everyone will like it. But, we are sticking with pixels :)

There's nothing wrong with pixel graphics when they're done right. I'd suggest at least adding in more frames of animation.

Я не программист, и мало что в этом понимаю.
(Не знаю насколько это сложно, и возможно ли без больших затрат времени и денег)
Но я бы очень обрадовался варианту, где можно в настройках игры менять вид.
Кто хочет играет в классический вариант (пиксельный).
А те кто не хочет пиксели, "ставит галочку" в настройках графики игры,
и играет в "современный" вариант. Так все в выигрыше!
