22 hours to beat the first campaign.
I know...there are people who beat the whole game in 20 minutes. And just waltzed through with minimal effort. On the hardest difficulty even. But for me it took 22 hours on fair difficulty. All my time in game has just been on the first campaign. And I finally beat it. It was very challenging. I am happy I beat it. I had to read a lot of discussions. Watch some videos, and yes start the campaign over. And rely on saving and reloading so many times. But it's done and I really just brute forced it. But hey if it works, it works. I almost gave up, but I'm glad I didn't.

Best of luck to other players struggling.

I think 30 minutes to 1 hour for one mission, so like 3 to 4 hours per campaign is normal speed. But 22 hours damn dunno if I should be impressed or worried. xD
But congrats that you dont give up. Keep it going man the next campaign is waiting. :)

I will keep going. And yes I know my experience may be odd :steamhappy: but i have read other discussion threads of people struggling. So I know I'm not the only one. But even though it has been more difficult for me. I do really like the game. If I didn't I would have cut my losses. Thanks for support, I hope the next campaigns go smoother.

Just know that you are not alone ! 60 hours of game here, and I just finished the 3rd campaign in worthy. So, not much faster than you !
I like to take my time too. Besides, the game is not easy at all, especially fights against wielders where you have to consider a lot of options.
Congrats on winning the first campaign ; hope you enjoy the next one !

Its taken me 18 with a few restarts. The game is not easy id be very surprised if anybody new is finishing the first campaign in 3/4 hours. Very satisfying to win though

Besides that I am sure you will become better over time while you get to know the game better and in a few weeks you could beat the first campaign with ease. Just stick to it. At least you have fun :)

Takes a bit, but game does get easier, lol. You get used to it. Also map knowledge is a powerful thing which is probably why PvP players go for Randoms.

I know for me during EA I had the same issues with Arleon 4 as everyone else and so it took some retries mainly to win the wielder fights, as well as ran into some bugs, but it eventually got there. Now can beat Arleon Campaign very easily if I were to play it again.

Loth 4 is probably hardest the game ever got tho... yeah, that one felt impossible even on fair, but I think there are some things that I know I'd definitely do differently if I play through that campaign again.

Rana 2 might be another trouble spot

And then Barya campaign didn't feel too difficult, but the first fight (on overwhelming) is going to be where most people have some issues

WOW you play campaign faction by faction?
So you miss out the story quite a bit , I guess.

According to the chronological order, Loth 4 is the first campaign to finish.
I just done that , next will be Rana, then Arleon and Baryan

Cudos for not giving up!

We are rolling out more difficulty options for the Campaign next update but that's a few weeks off, Good luck with the next campaign!

Are you planning to jump around and play them all in chronological order or will you finish the campaigns one by one?
Infectiousmeat Jun 16, 2024 @ 3:09am
I was just playing them one by one. I didn't realize there was a chronological order. I just went to campaigns and started with what I thought was the first one. So I'm doing the Rana now.

I'm also taking very long and I enjoy. Us slow chaps have a better time with games then the rushers. And 1 hour per map clearly means skipping dialogue and story stuff. I like to read em
i'm bad at this game i'm idling just to upgrade everything on every map for fun and i'm in lloth 3 in 20 hours on easy, 6 maps till the end
