You mouse over the enemy, it calculate the damage bonus or penalty caused by attack defence difference
Do you meant how stats like Defence, Offence, Spell Damage, Magic Resistance, etc, it measured against each other, or are you refering to the quickbattles of the game?
In case you meant quickbattles and you want to watch how the AI resolves it for you, you can first press "Manual Battle" button and then in the top left corner press the "Auto Battle" button. It will play out the same way but instead letting you watch it
I think I reported that in discord somewhere and even attached a save to reproduce.
On May 7th I posted a save-game called "another_bad_prediction.sav" in #ai-battle. Quick-battle loses the fight for me. But picking manual and letting the AI play wins it quite easily.
I think the issue for this inconsistency should be analyzed and tracked down. There really shouldn't be a difference between quick-battle-outcome and manual but auto.
Hi there. I stand corrected. There can be differences because there is random factor in the AI's decisions. But you can still use auto battle to get an see how the AI plays during quick battles, but when you come to a move that gets decided by random, the battle takes a different route and will indeed have an impact in the troop losses on both sides, although it should rarely be a big difference.
This issue with randomnes causing quickbattles and auto battles battles to play out differently is not a high priority, but we would also want to fix it and hopefully will fix it at point in time.
