Challenge Map Feedback: Her Will, My Sword
This challenge map appears to be bugged. When starting the map, each team's name is placeholder text like "SkirmishText/HerWillMySword/Team1".

There's a graveyard near the start, but it is guarded with an extremely large force.

And in terms of difficulty, I may be missing something, but once you reach the first branch with portals, the fights are impossible. Up to that point, you would have had no chance to get more units. And the ranged units in each path can easily kill your 4 existing units before they have any chance of fighting back.

First part is genuine bug. Wait till you get to the unclickable tear item the whole challenge is for, unless that got patched

Rest is pure skill issue. If you're having troubles with the campaigns above Fair difficulty, you ain't got any business doing most if not all of the Challenge maps imo

Devs, pls no nerfing the difficulty of this Challenge map

That's the thing, I've completed several other challenge maps with a similar premise. I just don't see how this one is possible. If you know how to get past the first fight after the two portals, please tell.

Suppose you didn't lose any units in the first few battles (which seems unlikely given that the Oathbound tend to die easily). You have 2 Oathbound and 2 Scavenged Bones. How would you defeat 10 Shields of Order and 5 Archers? Or 36 Militia and 10 Sappers?

Can't remember exactly anymore since I basically fully cleared out the challenge some 2-3 months ago

I went for the left side since those were easier and it involved a few to a couple of save reloads and then careful maneuvering + spell usage for the fight but I eventually won with a decent army still remaining

After that, I went down to get the raid bonus item and started picking off the easiest fights I could with the army I had at the time until I'd eventually cleared the whole map

Overall, I liked the experience, it felt like an actual challenge experience that forced me to employ a good deal of what I'd learned

Take a look at that one:

He made it very well. But that's not the most difficult map to me right now. Once you encounter "Get Out" we're talking again :D

Ah, that's what I missed. I thought the Poachers (~15 minutes in the video) wasn't a possible fight. Didn't realize it could be done and that you could get more units via that path.

Thanks for the help! I just completed the map (taking the right side route, since I saw some Legions on that side :D )

Just finished that one, definitely the first among em that felt like an actual challenge - I loved it

Played it with Marjatta, with how quick the first major fight happens, you're going to need to be able to hit above your class a lot while at the early game stage and only way I know how to do that rn is through damage spells (It's also currently the main actual use for em I see - punching above your class when your army ain't sufficiently strong enough yet to make good use of buff spells)
