Rest is pure skill issue. If you're having troubles with the campaigns above Fair difficulty, you ain't got any business doing most if not all of the Challenge maps imo
Devs, pls no nerfing the difficulty of this Challenge map
That's the thing, I've completed several other challenge maps with a similar premise. I just don't see how this one is possible. If you know how to get past the first fight after the two portals, please tell.
Suppose you didn't lose any units in the first few battles (which seems unlikely given that the Oathbound tend to die easily). You have 2 Oathbound and 2 Scavenged Bones. How would you defeat 10 Shields of Order and 5 Archers? Or 36 Militia and 10 Sappers?
I went for the left side since those were easier and it involved a few to a couple of save reloads and then careful maneuvering + spell usage for the fight but I eventually won with a decent army still remaining
After that, I went down to get the raid bonus item and started picking off the easiest fights I could with the army I had at the time until I'd eventually cleared the whole map
Overall, I liked the experience, it felt like an actual challenge experience that forced me to employ a good deal of what I'd learned

He made it very well. But that's not the most difficult map to me right now. Once you encounter "Get Out" we're talking again :D
Just finished that one, definitely the first among em that felt like an actual challenge - I loved it
Played it with Marjatta, with how quick the first major fight happens, you're going to need to be able to hit above your class a lot while at the early game stage and only way I know how to do that rn is through damage spells (It's also currently the main actual use for em I see - punching above your class when your army ain't sufficiently strong enough yet to make good use of buff spells)
